Ingredients of Fried Idli:
- idli-10
- Sliced tomato-3
- Sliced white cabbage-1 1/2 cup
- powdered salt-1 teaspoon
- tomato ketchup-2 teaspoon
- Sliced onion-2
- green pepper (sliced capsicum)-1
- mustard seeds-1/2 teaspoon
- chilli flakes-2 pinches
- refined oil-2 tablespoon
Step 1) In a non-stick vessel pour some oil. Heat it with moderate flame. The oil should not get much hot. Now, put mustard seeds in the vessel & wait for the spluttering.
Step 2) When seeds begin spluttering, drop onions & saute until they soften or become slightly pinkish. Next include cabbage, tomato, capsicum & saute for one min. with medium flame. Spray some ketchup & salt.
Step 3) Cut the leftover idlis in four pieces & drop in the mixture. Mix it properly & garnish with green coriander. If you have any emergency to prepare an elaborate meal, it is your go-to recipe since it takes very little time in preparing and cooking. Serve it hot with a hot tea.
