The photographs on still life, nature, landscape, or street photography, and wide selection of artistic photography art could be found in the photographic collection by some of the world’s most talented up-and-coming photographers.
History
Joseph Nicephore Niepce, in 1826, used a camera to produce the first stable photographic image which is also known as a negative. It was made upon silver nitrate-coated paper. But unfortunately the result is that the image took several days of exposure time, and the picture was not clear. Later, Louis Daguerre developed a technique and developed images on metal that reduced exposure time and created sharper and more stable pictures.
Gradually photographers started to collect those pictur es for the future reference or for the memories. An early pioneering photography collection and exhibition is, the V&A which now boasts a permanent Photography art gallery which is dedicated to the medium.
It is the inaugural exhibition of the history of the photography which displays beautiful and remarkable images taken between 1839 and the 1960s. Contemporary photography, temporary displays, primarily showcasing, are shown in the V&A’s existing photographs gallery which are worth seeing. Likewise this many renowned photographers has displayed their magnificent wok in their photography gallery.
